BBC News
BBC News is the morning news bulletin broadcast on BBC1 from 6:00 to 9:00 am, seven days a week.
It is aired on both BBC1, the corporation’s flagship channel and on the BBC News channel. It can also be viewed via Youriplayer.co.uk, a free on demand service.
BBC News is the main daytime news programme of the BBC network providing viewers with a variety of updates including sports, business, local and international news.
Guests are regularly invited and viewers are encouraged to send in their opinions on topics of discussion via text or social media.
BBC News was first broadcast in January 1983 and was originally known as Breakfast Time.
