The Common Denominator
The Common Denominator
The Common Denominator on Channel 4 is a game show that looks at connections. The aim of the game is to find the common denominator between two randomly seeming sentences and achieving this can win the contestants up to £10,000 prize money. Described as a game that revolves around lateral thinking, the three contestants must “think outside the box” in order to find connections between unlikely pairs of statements.
Phil Spencer, more famous for being the presenter of property show “Location, Location, Location” hosts this new Channel 4 game show, which goes out weekdays. You can also watch The Common Denominator via youriplayer.co.uk
Although The Common Denominator is new to UK TV, this show is a remake of a popular Israeli gameshow. The show is made by Endermol and first aired on Channel 4 in February 2013. There are 39 episodes in the first series.
The Common Denominator is not an easy game to play but if the popularity of the original version of the show is anything to go by, it looks set to become a regular Channel 4 fixture.
