Olive is a kind hearted bird with a huge imagination. She lives in the outback with her family and she gets into trouble sometimes. However, she always gets out of it in a fun and inventive way.

Olive the Ostrich was made in collaboration with the Princes Trust and features the objects props and background made by children within the 6 to 9 age group. These have then been bought to life with animation, giving the cartoon a unique visual appeal, which has been extremely popular since the series, began in 2011.
The future production of Olive the Ostrich is uncertain. The voice of Olive is narrated by Rolf Harris, which has caused a major problem for the show because of his ongoing investigation following allegations of child abuse. While this investigation is ongoing, further series have been suspended until the outcome has been proved.
