Incredible Edibles is a food show for children and sees presenter Stefan Gates experimenting with food to make each mealtime a totally memorable experience. He serves up food that comes from the stuff of nightmares including insect burgers and fried brains but he also helps children get creative with cooking and question where the food that they eat actually comes from.

Incredible Edibles on CBBC teaches children how to have fun with food and provides simple recipe ideas that can be followed as well as showing some classic foods from around the world. If you have ever wondered exactly what goes into a hot dog or the origin of that weird meat you get in kebabs, Stefan Gates will give you the answer!
Incredible Edibles is a 30 minutes show that packs in lots of fun and information about food. Stefan is joined by CBBC personalities and celebrity guests who sample some of the food that he creates in the studio and the whole show is educational although the target CBBC audience probably will not realise.

Incredible Edibles is a new programme that was first broadcast in 2013 and plans are already in place for a second series.  An interesting piece of trivia about Stefan Gates that will appeal to older readers is that he was one of the children used on the Led Zeppelin Album cover “Houses of the Holy” when he was five years old.
