Wild at Heart is a drama show produced by ITV about a Vet and his family who have immigrated to South Africa from England to set up a Vets and animal hospital. The main cast included Stephen Tomkinson, Amanda Holden and Lucy-Jo Hudson (of Coronation Street fame).

In the programme the characters also try their best to rehabilitate a game reserve that has been set aside for animals that originate in the wild to use. Altogether, there have been seven series’ of this popular programme.
Wild at Heart was filmed on location at a game reserve and sanctuary called the Glen Afric Country Lodge at Broederstroom North West Province, South Africa. The animals there include giraffes, lions, buffalos and hippos. Its area is spans over a thousand acres.
