Tonight is a news magazine programme from ITV whose inspiration was the popular World in Action series. Previously known as Tonight with Trevor McDonald, and having ironically hit the headlines a couple of times itself in the past for controversial episodes, Tonight Series 14 is currently presented by Julie Etchingham of ITV News at Ten presenting notoriety.

Correspondents and commentators have included Martin Bashir and Martin Lewis. Many subjects included featured are follow-ups to stories from national tabloids. Tonight is known for its top calibre interviews which include Trevor Rees-Jones, the only survivor of the crash which killed Princess Diana. Celebrities often appear on Tonight, for example Naomi Campbell, after a period of being in the spotlight of the press.
