Who would live in a house like that? Through the Keyhole on ITV is a long running series that lets us snoop round the homes of celebrities, while a celebrity panel of guests attempt to identify the identity of the homeowner. It makes for some great nosy viewing as we enjoy looking at the celebrity’s “stuff” and decorating style. Some of the homes show that money and taste do not always go hand in hand!
This new season of Through the Keyhole on ITV features comic invention Keith Lemon, played by actor Leigh Francis, as the host of the show, providing a running commentary on the décor. The panel of three celebrity guests attempting to guess the identity of the celebrity homeowner have included Tim Vine, Anton Du Beke and Gloria Hunniford and TV celebrity Dave Berry is a frequent panellist on the show.
Through the Keyhole was a game show invented by David Frost in 1987 and ran for 20 seasons until 2008. Lloyd Grossman was the show’s most well known presenter and his catchphrase "Who would live in a house like that” is still associated with the show.
Through the Keyhole was revived and repurposed for a new audience in 2013 and with the addition of Keith Lemon at the helm is now more of a comedy show than a celebrity lifestyle programme.
