The Xtra Factor is an ITV follow up programme to the extremely popular talent show ‘The X Factor’. The X Factor itself is a talent show that seeks the best singers from the general public which took over from the similarly formatter ‘Pop Idol’ show. The singers perform in front of a panel which famously used to include Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole.
