The Saint is a British crime series featuring a mysterious individual who targets rich figures in the criminal underworld in order to rob them of their riches and get them arrested for their crimes.
It is broadcast by ITV and aired on ITV 4.

The Saint details the exploits of Simon Templar( Roger Moore) a suave, sophisticated and elusive individual who in addition to stealing from wealthy criminals, sets them up to be caught by the police.
He is however viewed as being little more than a criminal himself by Inspector Teal an overzealous police detective whom he must constantly outwit in order to avoid imprisonment.

The series was based on the fictional character created by British author, Leslie Charteris. It was originally aired in 1962 for a total of six seasons with its final episode being filmed in 1969.
