The Good Wife is a US drama series shown on Channel Four about how the life of a female lawyer/wife/mother must continue preceding her husband’s public scandalous activities.
Julian Margulies of previous ER fame heads the cast as ‘The Good Wife’. Her character Alicia Florric tries to balance her career with being a parent amidst the fallout from her husband Peter’s disrepute.

Famous in The Good Wife for her long boots, Archie Punjabi of Bend it like Beckham notoriety stars as Kalinda Sharma. She has a fragile friendship with Alicia following a past brief romantic encounter with Peter. Her unconventional attitude often leads to her winning cases for their law firm.
