The Chase is a popular quiz show presented by Bradley Walsh in which a team of hopefuls must outwit a formidable opponent known as the Chaser in order to win a cash prize.
Broadcast by the ITV Network , it is aired on ITV at 17.00 hours from Monday to Friday  and at 14.40 hours on Saturdays.

The Chase features a team of four contestants each of whom must answer a series of general knowledge questions during a preliminary round lasting 60 seconds following which they then compete with the Chaser, an individual chosen from a team of four quiz experts.
   
The players who are able to successfully complete this stage then proceed to the final round where they compete with the Chaser in a number of mini sessions in order to win a cash prize based on the questions they have answered correctly during the entire show.

Currently in its sixth season, the Chase is one of ITV’s most popular lunchtime programmes and attracts an average of 3 million viewers per episode. 46rtg55g
A celebrity version of the show was also launched in October 2011, has been aired for two seasons and attracts approximately 4 million viewers per episode.
