The Big Bang Theory is originally a US comedy, airing in the UK on Channel 4. It centres round the lives of two scientists and how things alter for them after a beautiful woman moves into the same building as them.

Stars of The Big Bang Theory include Johnny Galecki of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation fame and Jim Parsons. Johnny Galecki plays the part of Dr Leonard Hofstadter who falls in love with the beautiful Penny (Kaley Cuoco) the first moment he sees her. Jim Parsons plays Dr Sheldon Cooper who despite a high IQ like Leonard and respecting routine doesn’t ‘get’ humour in any shape or form!
