This show is the regional segment of the Sunday Politics show, which deals with more nationwide and international issues. Sunday Politics London has a local bias and covers issues that specifically affect Londoners.
Andrew Neil is a political journalist and commentator and is the presenter of the weekday daytime programme The Daily Politics.
Tim Donavan is the political editor for BBC London, the area’s regional news programme and both presenters are extremely well respected in the political world.
On Sunday Politics London, Andrew Neil and/or Tim Donavan are joined by two politicians often MPs or MEPS or in some cases political commentators or figures who are currently featuring in the news. Local London based stories and events are discussed and these are accompanied by short films.
Sunday Politics London is a topical discussion programme and brings you the events and issues concerning the capital. It includes interviews with people making the news and past guests have included defence secretary Philip Hammond, EDL leader Tommy Robinson and Boris Johnson.
The weeks political events are rounded up into a 60-second review giving the London based viewer a general overview of national political news.
