See Hear
See Hear is a BBC Two current events programme that caters for deaf people and people with restricted hearing. Although a section of See Hear is frequently devoted to Deaf News (presented by Tessa Padden), a large amount of other subjects for the deaf are covered, including their rights and competitions. An example of a competition featured on See Hear is ‘Hotfingers’. This episode featured a Fingerspelling competition where the fastest paced Fingerspeller was revealed.
This popular show has been screened in the UK since the 1980’s in a few slightly different formats. Currently See Hear features Memnos Costi who is also known for his soccer as well as his TV presenting skills as well as Radha Manjeshwar.
