Random Acts
Random Acts
Random Acts is a Channel 4 mini film slot which demonstrates bright and energetic artistry in a series of 260 purposely commissioned films that are singularly of three minute duration.
Random Acts uses TV as an art form in its own right and gives a chance to both fresh and experienced artists to create their own masterpieces. The films feature cartoon, music, video art and words as forms of artistic expression.
Creative companies including Tate Media, Ballet Boyz and FACT supply their talent. The aim is to support the most creative and ingenious artists in the UK. The show Random Acts, as its title may suggest, was originally scheduled for random interruptions, but you can catch it on demand via Youriplayer.co.uk.
