QI XL
QI XL on BBC Two is a longer version of the original QI show that includes even more unusual facts and quirky information than the original. These extra long repeats of QI, show some of the original QI episodes but with added parts of the show that were originally cut for the shorter format of QI.
QI was first broadcast in 2003 and is a long running popular show. QI or quite interesting requires the guests to think about the answers to obscure questions and points are awarded for any answer if it is “quite interesting” Stephen Fry presides over two teams, one featuring permanent player Alan Davis. Each week he is joined by three comedians or entertainers as guests on the show.
Each series of QI is named after a letter and the topic of each episode loosely relates the letter. QI XL began, following the broadcast of series F (2009) and is as popular with viewers as the original series.
