Paul O Grady: For the Love of Dogs is an ITV documentary series that looks at the work of the Battersea Dogs and Cats home and sees Paul O Grady helping the staff to rehome some of the dogs. There are some extremely moving stories and the series highlights some awful cases of animal cruelty and neglect as well as some moving personal stories.
It is uplifting to see the dogs nursed back to health with a combination of old fashioned TLC and Veterinary attention, and then go on to find new homes with caring and kind new owners. It is impossible to watch without filling up! Watch this series and you will find there is not a dry eye in the house!

As well as the rehoming nature of the charity’s work, we get to see behind the scenes at the Battersea Dogs and Cats home and learn about the individual animals that the charity saves. At times moving and sad, Paul O Grady: For the Love of Dogs on ITV manages to achieve a generally optimistic tone and the happy conclusion of some of these stories makes the show watchable and rewarding.
