Panorama is the longest running popular public affairs television show ever, originally being screened on BBC One peak time. The first broadcasting of the programme was back in the 50’s. Panorama uses an investigative journalism style of reporting.
Historically presenters have included Richard Dimbleby and his son David Dimbleby (who presented Panorama on its 21st anniversary) and Sir Robin Day. More recently Jeremy Vine has been the presenter of Panorama on the majority of occasions. Topics for investigation on Panorama include ‘Cash for Questions Undercover.’
