Nashville on Channel 4 is a US drama series set in the world of the Nashville country music scene. Established country music star Rayna James is beginning to lose some of her popularity, her records are not selling and she does not pack out the stadium tours any more. Enter Juliette Barnes, a new young country music singer and ex teen star reckoned to be the hottest thing in the business. Sparks fly as the divas clash and vie for superiority as well as fight over band members and lead guitarist Deacon Claybourne, once Rayna’s lover who Juliette wants to poach for herself.

Things get even more complicated when Rayna’s husband Teddy Conrad runs to be mayor of Nashville, backed by Rayna/s father millionaire Lamar Watts. c038tv

Nashville on channel 4 is a new drama series that first aired in 2012 and so far has run to one season over 21 episodes.  It is entertaining, glossy and deliciously tacky. If you like country music and enjoy powerful drama featuring strong women and plenty of glamour and intrigue you will love this show.
