Presenter Naomi Wilkinson goes on a search around the globe for some of the World’s scariest animals and finds herself on some incredible adventures including swimming with sharks and crocodiles, holding venomous snakes and getting close up and personal with some huge spiders.

This CBBC nature documentary series shows some of the more unusual and dangerous animals and is a fascinating glimpse into how these strange creatures live in their natural habitat. Naomi screams a lot but who can blame her! The animals are suitably scary but learning about them takes some of the fear out of their often bizarre and frightening appearance.
Naomi ‘s Nightmares of Nature first aired on CBBC in 2012 and has won an award in the Best Children’s category in a regional awards West of England’s RTS Awards Bristol. This is a high quality children’s programme that manages to entertain as well as instruct.
