Mike the Knight is a Canadian and British   animated children’s series which aims to bring the adventures of the Middle Ages to life.
It focused on a kind hearted, yet mischievous young knight-in-training and the challenges he faces in keeping his kingdom safe.
It is aired in the UK on CBeebies, the BBC Network’s channel aimed at children below the age of six.

Mike the Knight is set in the Kingdom of Glendragon which is currently under the protection of Mike who is also a prince of the realm.
He is aided in this role by Evie, his sister and mage in training, his faithful steed Galahad and Sparkie and Squirt his two pet   dragons.
The programme aims to introduce young children to a magical world of adventure while also teaching them the importance of friendships, loyalty and personal responsibility.
