The London marathon is an iconic event that is full of colour and excitement. Many runners are in fancy dress, there are runners facing personal challenges or disability or similar and the event raises millions for charity each year as runners pound their way round the 26 mile course. There is a wheelchair section of the race so it is a chance to see some of the paralympians in action.
