Leabhar na Dluth was originally shown on BBC Alba. It is a series of cartoons which have been based on Jungle Book, Rudyard Kipling’s classic story of the adventures of Mowgli, who was raised by wolves and befriended animals after being accidentally abandoned in the Jungle.

For a taste of this series you could always check out An Strath Diomhair (The Elephants Secret) which is currently available via Youriplayer.co.uk, in which one of the elephants gets lost on his quest to find the Secret Valley and asks Mowgli for assistance.

Altogether there have been 52 episodes of Leabhar na Dluth. The series is similar in style to Sneachda am Mathan Ban (Snowbert the Polar Bear).
