Heir Hunters is a BBC1 factual programme which tries to locate unknown heirs or heirs that may have gone missing, before the cash that is rightfully theirs is collected by the British Treasury. It is currently presented by Lisa Faulkner (of Brookside and Holby City fame) who also narrates the programme.

Heir Hunters has a popular audience, even appealing to viewers ahead of ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ on its original daytime slot. The conclusion of Heir Hunters shows the work of probate researchers, a wide range of results from a number of different companies which took a long time to produce.
