Gardener’s world is a long running BBC gardening programme that follows the seasons of the year and gives advice about what you should be doing in the garden. Presented by a range of gardening experts and headed by Monty Don, Gardeners World brings the colour of the garden to life with some inspirational gardens, tips and tricks and useful advice.

This programme also includes features and specials on celebrated gardens and events such as the Chelsea Flower Show and similar.
If you are thinking of starting a garden, Gardeners World is a good place to begin as well as appealing to enthusiasts and experienced gardeners alike. The show follows the seasons so is instructive in telling you what you should be doing in the garden right now. If you don’t like gardening yourself, some of the featured gardens are extremely beautiful and nice to just look at.
Gardeners World has been broadcast since 1968 and has featured a number of presenters. The show has been hosted by Monty Don since 2011 and is based at Monty Don’s own garden in Herefordshire.
Previous presenters have included Percy Thrower, Geoff Hamilton who died in 1996, and Alan Titchmarsh with Monty Don hosting the show between 2003 and 2008 and then from 2011 onwards.
