Fit
Fit
Fit on CBBC is a new comedy sketch show that is all about sport and will delight self-professed coach potatoes and sports fans alike. The show combines slapstick comedy and larger than life characters doing silly things related to sport and health and takes a sideways look at the sometimes-pompous world of fitness. Expect very bad impressions of sporting characters, ridiculous inventions such as trainers made from butter and a wealth of crazy sketches and quick fire comedy. Regular comedy sketch sees businessman Peter Butterfield trying to promote ridiculous products as part of his sports range and is a regular feature of the show.
Fit on CBBC comes with some great credentials. The series was produced by the same team that gave us the Horrible Histories series and the humour of Fit runs in a similar vein. The format is lively and includes regular characters in the sketches as well as fake advertisements for ridiculous sports inventions, spoofs of chefs cooking healthy meals and much more. If you like the idea of seeing the world’s dumbest cheerleaders or fancy meeting the world’s most annoying dad who commentates on absolutely everything you will enjoy this show.
Fit was first broadcast in 2013 and has run to twelve episodes. It will appeal to adults as well as children and stars some exciting new comedy talent who appear to enjoy the show as much as the viewer. It is very funny.
