Father Ted is a classic Irish comedy centred round the lives of two Catholic Priests, Father Ted Crilly (Dermot Morgan) and his naive sidekick Dougal Macguire (Ardal O’Hanlon). The Priests, having been exiled onto fictional Craggy Island for past wrong doing,s also live in the parochial house with angry Father Jack Hackett (Frank Kelly) and doting house-keeper Mrs. Doyle (Pauline Mc Lynn).

Having received many BAFTA awards, a number of Irish actors and comedians also appear in various episodes of Father Ted including presenter Graham Norton, Jim Norton and Ed Byrne.
