Doctor Who is an immensely popular BBC Science Fiction series that is now being shown on BBC Three. Running since the 1960’s it follows the adventures of a time-travelling Doctor who travels in his ‘tardis’ and his adventures with various phenomenons he encounters including Daleks and Cybermen. 

The Doctor has appeared in various guises throughout the decades with previous actors including Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker portraying incarnations.
