Dino Dan is a children’s programme shown on ITV that cleverly uses CGI dinosaurs to entertain and educate children about dinosaurs. Dan in the title Dino Dan refers to the character Dan Henderson who is learning how to be an expert in the field of dinosaurs. Dan is portrayed by Canadian child star Jason Spevack of Fever Pitch fame.

In Dino Dan, Dan and his chums find out a lot of myths and history about dinosaurs. Dan is just a normal child, but he can see dinosaurs that not everyone can see. The dinosaurs seem to accompany Dan everywhere he goes including the school classroom which leads to some wild adventures.
