First aired in 2005 by Channel 4, Deal or no deal is a UK game show featuring contestants who must hold their nerve in order to outwit the Banker and end up with more money than they started with.

Deal or no deal is presented and coordinated by Noel Edmonds, and involves a randomly selected contestant who must decide to accept or reject an offer for a box in their possession which represents a monetary value, made by  the Banker who is never seen.

The amount which can be won ranges from £0.01 to £250,000.

Deal or no deal was inspired by a show based on a similar format from the Netherlands.
