Comedian Dara O’Briain takes a look at the world of science and offers an interesting as well as entertaining view of science in Dara O Briain’s Science club on BBC Two. 

Each episode sees Dara and the team examine a subject and explore all its angles and previous topics have included space, future technology, invisible worlds, and more. Each week Dara is joined by guests – Professor Brian Cox sometimes features and Brian May and James May have also been invited onto the show.

 

Dara O Briain’s Science Club on BBC Two is filmed in a live format. The presenters and guests perform in front of a live audience informally arranged around their chairs and members of the audience are sometimes called upon as experts or to participate in experiments. This show manages to combine the wonders of the natural world and the sometimes bizarre world of science, with entertainment and comedic moments. Dara is a quick witted host and the casual conversational setting, some great guests and fascinating science facts makes this show a must for anyone who likes to be entertained as well as learn something. 

 

Dara O Briain’s Science Club first aired on BBC Two in 2012 and so far has run to two series. The show is popular with audiences and Dara O Briain himself a talented performer better known as a comedian on shows such as Mock The Week
