Come Dine With Me is presented by Dave Lamb and features four or five contestants from a variety of backgrounds who all share a love of cooking.
Each of them is required to prepare a full course meal consisting of a starter, a main course and dessert, to be served during the dinner party hosted in their home.
Each host is then rated by their guests based on criteria such as: ambience, quality of the meal served and their ability to make others feel welcome.
Points are issued on a scale of one to ten with the prize going to the participant who scores the most points.
