largely ignored by terrestrial TV, despite attracting massive crowds to live races throughout the season. It is held around the country at the major racing tracks including Thruxton, Oulton Park and Snetterton and the 2012 season culminated in a showdown with the final contest played out at Brand Hatch.

The 2012 season differed slightly from previous years. There was a limit of 32 bikes imposed as well as some changes to bike modification and technical regulations.
