Britain’s Secret Shoppers on Channel 4 is all about showing British shoppers how to save money in shops by haggling and making deals, and it may help you save money yourself next time you are in the market for a major purchase.
Businessman and entrepreneur Justin Preston presents the show. Each week he coaches shoppers into the art of haggling and deal making who then hit the shops armed with earpieces and secret cameras. Previous episodes have included two women looking for designer dresses, a women who saves thousands of pounds off the asking price of a new car and a couple shopping for a fitted kitchen.

Watching the programme, the message seems to be that if you don’t ask, you don’t get and according to Justin, losing the customary British shyness and getting a bit more savvy can make a serious difference to how much you have to spend.
As well as helping consumers, Justin also helps ailing British businesses perform more profitably and a regular feature of the show sees Justin teaming up with consumer organisation Which in order to see the best deals on the High Street.
