The show follows the seasons so is instructive in telling you what you should be doing in the garden right now. If you don’t like gardening yourself, some of the featured gardens are extremely beautiful and nice to just look at.

Gardeners World has been broadcast since 1968 and has featured a number of presenters. The show has been hosted by Monty Don since 2011 and is based at Monty Don’s own garden in Herefordshire.
Previous presenters have included Percy Thrower, Geoff Hamilton who died in 1996, and Alan Titchmarsh with Monty Don hosting the show between 2003 and 2008 and then from 2011 onwards.
